Welcome!We're glad you're here.
Dr. Cahill embodies the mission to care for every patient as family. As the owner of Academy Animal Hospital, she’s established a team and culture within the practice that promotes and provides compassionate care for every pet that comes through the door. She also has an extra special way with her feline patients, earning her the nickname “The Cat Whisperer.” In addition to being a certified Feline Friendly practice, cats just seem to sense that Dr. Cahill has their best interest in mind and melt in her presence.

In Our Community
We’re proud to support the Retired Police Dog Fund.
Cesar Memorial Retired K9 Fund
Academy Animal Hospital is partnering with the Fraternal Order of Police #27 to provide medical care for the retired Joplin and Jasper County police dogs. Our police dogs receive excellent healthcare through the police and sheriff departments during the course of their service. However, once they retire; they are no longer part of the departments and live permanently with their handlers. Our canine officers care very much for their retired dogs and in previous years paid for their medical expenses themselves. We all want police dogs to have a retirement worthy of their service. With your help, the canine officers will have the peace of mind of knowing their partners’ medical needs will always be provided for. Academy Animal Hospital facilitates fundraisers for the Fund throughout the year. Donations can also be made here:
